Chènevières account: terms and personal data

Version 1 · Français (the French version prevails)

Who we are

The Chènevières account is provided by the Chènevières Productions association (Studio des Chènevières), publisher of the Chènevières EQ plugin. The account is free and optional: the plugin works fully without it.

What the account is for

It lets you find your USER presets on any computer where Chènevières EQ is installed and, if you wish, propose some presets to the COMMUNITY bank.

Data we keep

• your email address (to send you sign-in codes);
• the display name you choose and, if you add them, your link and logo;
• the presets you save while signed in;
• when the account was created, when you accepted these terms, your recent sign-ins and the device name.

No advertising, no tracking; we never sell or share your data. Data is hosted by Cloudflare (database in Europe); sign-in codes are sent through Resend.

Private and proposed presets

Your presets are private. Studio des Chènevières only sees the presets you explicitly propose to the community. By proposing a preset, you grant Studio des Chènevières a free right to distribute it in Chènevières EQ, in the COMMUNITY bank, under your display name, possibly with your logo and link. Studio des Chènevières freely chooses which presets are published and may change their name or category. You may withdraw your consent at any time by unticking the box: the preset leaves the bank at its next update.

Logo and link

You warrant that you have the right to use the logo you upload. Every logo is reviewed before it appears. Inappropriate logos, links or names may be refused.

Your rights

From the plugin (⚙ menu › Account) you can change your name, link and logo, download all your data and delete your account at any time. Deletion permanently erases the account, your online presets and your published presets. Presets saved on your computers stay there.

Fair use

The service is provided as is, without any availability guarantee. Keep a copy of important presets (the plugin also keeps them on your computer). Abusive accounts may be suspended.
